SINOPSE
The Lord of the Labyrith tells the story of Arthur Bispo do Rosario, a humble man from Sergipe – Brazil, who has esquizophrenia, and has lived his life haunted by mysticism and allucinations while in psychiatric institutions where he lived between 1938 and 1989, when he died.
During the motion picture we see Bispo’s life during this reclusion at Juliano Moreira clinic (Rio de Janeiro) where he lived and produced for 50 years a collection on embroideries, banners and assemblages which travel around Brazil and the world with their profound traces of contemporary pop art.
