30 years ago, producer ELISA TOLOMELLI founded EH! Filmes, where she established herself as one of the biggest cinema producers in the country. Maria do Caritó, starring Lília Cabral, released in October 2019 is the eighth full length feature of her company, which also includes in its portfolio Mulheres do Brasil, Como Esquecer, Margaret Mee e a Flor da Lua, A Floresta Que Se Move, Berenice Procura, among others
Elisa Tolomelli was responsible for the executive production of internationally successful movies, like Central do Brasil (nominated for the best foreign film Oscar/99; elected best picture in Berlin/98), Cidade de Deus (indicated in 4 Oscar categories in 2004, winner of 52 international awards) and Lavoura Arcaica, greatly awarded around the world. She also has experiences in other steps of television and film production, including screenwriting, directing and distribution – even, as Commercial Director of RioFilme, she headed the release of over 30 films, among them Terra Estrangeira (1995) by Walter Salles Jr. and O Menino Maluquinho (1995) by Helvécio Ratton.
